Summary: Brant Maller is moving from Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP to work in Winston & Strawn’s New York Office.
Winston & Strawn LLP, an international law firm with 18 offices throughout the World, welcomes Brant Maller to their New York office where he will be serving of counsel. Maller will focus his expertise on representing institutional capital investors of alternative asset classes, such as private equity, real estate, hedge fund, and real assets. His clients are some of the largest institutional asset investors and managers.
He will continue to work with the Alternative Investments Forum (AIF), which strives to educate, communicate, and exchange information among the largest global institutional investors. According to the AIF’s webpage, it “is an independent economic think tank that focuses on institutional investment policy”. Maller serves as the CEO of the Forum. The AIF holds region roundtables where the institutional investors of things such as pension funds, endowments, health care organizations, insurance companies, foundations, and family offices can discuss investments in person.
Brant Maller is leaving Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP to join Winston & Strawn LLP. He led the firm’s Alternative Investment Team. His previous experience serving on investment advisory committees for the nation’s three largest pension plans and current membership on the Board of Trustees and the Chair of the Investments and Pensions Track of the National Institute of Public Finance strengthens his qualifications.
