Summary: The Environmental Law Practice at Barnes & Thornburg has added the valuable member of Beth Davis to their Atlanta team.
Elizabeth B. Davis will be joining the Environmental Law Department of Barnes & Thornburg in Atlanta. She will be working on environmental and product liability issues. She joins Barnes & Thornburg from where she was partner at Thompson Hine LLP .
Davis has a broad level of knowledge to provide to clients. She has served at the assistant regional counsel with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Region 4. She has expertise in regulatory compliance, enforcement defense, litigation, and permitting. She can advise clients on all parts of state and federal laws that relate to hazardous waste, water, pesticides, underground storage tanks, air, occupational safety and health, and toxic substances.
She can also help manufacturers, retailers, and importers with consumer product safety and food and drug regulation requirements such as managing and designing recalls and liability claims.
Davis earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Agnes Scott College and her J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law. She is involved with the ABA Section of Environment, Energy and Resources, a fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America, a member of the International Association of Defense Counsel, chair of the board of directors of The Suzi Bass Awards, and a member of the National Leadership Council of Lambda Legal.
