The Recorder’s “Women in the Tech Industry Power Players”

Summary: The Recorder has chosen for the first time a specific ten women as “Power Players” for the work they do in the tech department.

The Recorder has selected their top women leaders in tech law for 2015. The 60 lawyers from California were selected for their recent achievements in the tech industry for their positions as litigator, advisor, strategist, and dealmaker. The editors at The Recorder also look at the leadership roles each honoree has in their organization and the legal community.

There are 37 from law firms, 20 from in-house legal teams, two federal prosecutors that focus on computer crime, and an academic. These women are handling and solving some of the most important problems in the tech world whether by creating workplace policies, data security, IP strategy, or mega-mergers.

There are also ten “Power Players” that particularly stood out for their innovation on the tech industry. Here are the lawyers nominated for Power Players:
