Morrison & Foerster is happy to have established FinTech attorney Sean Ruff back. He will be as of counsel, serving on the FinTech Practice Group as co-chair with Obrea Poindexter and Eric McCrath. Ruff is leaving FinTech payment agency Square Inc. where he served as the Director, Regulatory of Counsel, and Lead Payments.
Ruff is experienced in funds transmission and other related compliance issues, alternative lending, Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering regulations, non-traditional and traditional electronic payments and payment methods, and consumer financial services initiatives.
