Summary: Greenberg Traurig’s New York Real Estate Practice will be joined by Andrew J. Towbin as a shareholder.
Greenberg Traurig LLP, an international multi-practice law firm with around 1,800 attorneys in 37 offices throughout the world, will be adding a new shareholder to their ranks. Andrew J. Towbin will be joining the Real Estate Practice Group in the New York office from Bryan Cave LLP .
Towbin will be representing real estate investment and opportunity funds, real estate owners and developers, REITs, private lenders, and commercial banks. His experience is in sales and acquisitions of commercial, multifamily, and hotel properties; mezzanine, construction, and mortgage financing; joint ventures and equity investments; and restructuring of existing debt.
Towbin earned his J.D. from New York University and received his B.S. from Cornell University. He has worked alongside Greenberg Traurig on previous deals, demonstrating his commitment to quality and expertise in complex transactions which developed Greenberg Traurig’s interest in him.
Greenberg Traurig has been growing their New York office with several new hires since April. The Real Estate Practice has been delivering results for clients for 40 years. There are over 200 lawyers in the group plus they have the resources of the law firm to provide clients with.
