The Jenner/Kardashian clan is no stranger to lawsuits. Living an elaborate lifestyle is bound to make some angry, especially when that lifestyle impedes on others. The residents of Marina del Rey are suing Khloe Kardashian and her mother Kris Jenner for the effect their party had on the wealthy seaside community.
Kardashian threw an extravagant party for her boyfriend James Harden’s 26th birthday. That celebration included a 15-minute firework show that was disruptive and emotionally distressing to the community. Twelve residents have decided to file the lawsuit against the reality TV stars for $7,500 each. The residents claim the money is not their idea but are more interested in confronting the rude and selfish behavior from the family.
Los Angeles City Councilman Mike Bonin noted that no permits were given for a firework display, “disruptive celeb firework show that woke up thousands was NOT permitted by city or county.” They were checking to see if the Coast Guard issued permission.
The birthday party was for 200 guests aboard a yacht. Guests included the Kardashian clan of Kim and her husband Kanye West, Kris Jenner and her boyfriend Corey Gamble, Kendall Jenner, and Kylie Jenner and her boyfriend Tyga.

In unrelated news, Kylie Jenner and Tyga are receiving fines for misuse of water at each of their LA mansions. Jenner has received two violations, if she reaches five, her water could be turned off. The entire southern California region is dealing with severe droughts so city officials have implemented strict water usage guidelines to ensure water does not go to waste. It is no surprise that they received violations when the family clearly has trouble considering others.
