Summary: A park ranger caught Tara Mack and Tim Kelly being inappropriate in a parked car, but the two claim the allegations are false.
Two Minnesota lawmakers that were caught making out by a park ranger are vigorously denying the allegations. Rep Tara Mack of Apple Valley and Tim Kelly of Red Wing claim that the ranger made up the report.
The two high-ranking lawmakers claim they met at a Twin Cities Regional Park to exchange documents while Kelly was driving through from the state capitol to Red Wing. Although this story could make sense, it doesn’t make sense that the two, who are married to other people, would choose to meet at a place hidden and out of the way when the visitor’s center parking lot could have been a much more convenient meeting place.
They were cited for creating a public nuisance. The ranger’s report describes finding the two making out in a parked car with the female passenger’s pants unzipped and pulled down. It does seem a little odd that a park ranger would make up a story like this for no reason.
Kelly says the ranger told him he was double parked so he got out of the car to challenge that. Kelly then took a picture of how the cars were parked, which he states made the ranger upset. If Kelly did in fact take a picture of how the car was parked, they should have no reason to worry that their story will be verified.
