Summary: Damon Wayans from SNL questions the motives behind the 50 plus women that accused Bill Cosby of rape.
Comedian Damon Wayans had some choice words to share about his theory of the rape allegations against Bill Cosby. Wayans calls many of the women “money hustlers” that are only claiming rape in hopes of a monetary gain.
The comments Wayans gave came from a radio interview on Power 105 “The Breakfast Club.” He advised Cosby to give all his money to his wife in a divorcement and then face his accusers. Being a comedian, Wayans dressed his advice up with smoking a cigar and drinking some wine.
Wayans questions the words that some of the women have used in their statements such as “the first time.” He believes that Cosby was likely in a relationship with many of the women and when he ended it with them, they became bitter.
Wayans brought up how the media is treating Cosby in comparison to other celebrities that have been accused of the same thing. Woody Allen and Stephen Collins from “7th Heaven” were accused of sex crimes but are still accepted in society. Allen is still producing movies and TV shows whereas the show “7th Heaven” still airs on TV.
He blames this treatment to the fact that Cosby lost his biggest follower base, young black men, before the allegations came. After the criticism, the women saw the opportunity to bring Cosby down even easier.
