Summary: An estranged couple that had appeared on the Travel Channel show “Ghost Adventures” as ghost hunters were found dead inside an apartment after a standoff with police.
Reality TV star ghost hunter on the TV show “Ghost Adventures” Mark Constantino barricaded himself and his wife Debby into an apartment in Sparks, Nevada. Washoe District Court records indicate Debby had secured a restraining order against him, which had been served on him a week ago. They were going to appear in court for their pending divorce in December.

The police were called to another house at 6:30 am to investigate a dead man in a house in Reno. Two women had been living in the home, including Debby. They tracked her cellphone to the apartment in Reno. When police officers knocked on the door to the apartment, they heard gunshots and a man yelling “Give me 15 minutes to gather my thoughts, or “I’ll kill her.”
Police never fired any gunshots. SWAT eventually had to use explosives to open the door and found the couple dead inside. They are not saying how they died except that they were dead before police stormed the apartment. Police are also not saying much about the two incidents except that they are “directly related.”
This was not the first time he had kidnapped and assaulted her.
