The newest member of Blank Rome LLP is finance attorney Michael J. Loesberg. Working from the New York office, Loesberg will join the Finance, Restructuring, and Bankruptcy group as well as the Financial Services industry team.
He was previously a partner at Greenberg Traurig, LLP, working from their New York and New Jersey offices. His practice will focus on representing international and national banks and financial institutions, hedge funds, and finance companies in single-lender and syndicated loan transactions, asset-based lending, and other lending matters such as term loans, revolving loans, letters of credit, multicurrency transactions, intercreditor arrangements, and cross-border transactions. He will also provide advice for business reorganizations and financial restricting transactions like debtor-in possession financing and exit financing.
Loesberg earned his J.D. from George Washington University Law School and his B.A. from Colgate University. He started out as a law clerk for Geraldine Mund of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California.
