Blakely Sokoloff Taylor & Zafman LLP partner Lori Kozak is joining Fox Rothschild, LLP in their Los Angeles office. Kozak is a former trademark examining attorney for the US Patent and Trademark Office.
Los Angeles office managing partner, Darrell D. Miller, stated his excitement of adding Kozak to their team, “With nearly two decades of experience handling intellectual property matters with the USPTO and in private practice, Lori’s addition strategically expands the firm’s IP transactional capabilities for clients in Los Angeles and nationwide.”
Kozak will focus on IP transactional and prosecution matters. Her experience includes providing strategic management of copyright and trademark assets, evaluating trademark clearance searches, supervising the preparation and prosecution of domestic and international trademark applications, handling domain name disputes, and more.
Kozak finds cost-effective, productive solutions to trademark and copyright disputes. To do this, she relies on her experience managing large U.S. and international portfolios of computer, technology, multimedia, entertainment, apparel, health and fitness, food and beverage, and construction products.
Kozak attended George Washington University where she earned her J.D. and her B.A. from Mount Vernon College in Washington D.C.
