According to the magazine’s website, CalLawyer.com, the magazine was a monthly publication that provided readers with legal analysis, in-depth features, updates on technology, and practical advice on the law. The magazine had won over 70 Maggie awards from the Western Publications Association for excellence in editorial design and content. It had also won national honors from the Society of Publication Designers, Folio’s Eddie Awards, and the American Society of Business Publication Editors.
