Summary: The Detroit office of Honigman Miller Schwartz and Cohn has added a new partner to their ranks from Jackson Lewis.
With a J.D. from Wayne State University Law School, Kimberly Yourchock will be a valuable addition to Honigman Miller Schwartz and Cohn LLP. She will be joining the firm as a partner from Detroit in the Labor and Employment Department’s Wage and Hour Practice Group.
The focus of her work will be on representing employers in federal and state courts as well as to assorted administrative agencies for labor and employment matters. This involves harassment, retaliation, breach of contract, discrimination, and wage and hour issues. She also advises employers on employment policies and procedures, human resources compliance, best practices for internal investigations, and employment contracts that include restrictive covenants.
Yourchock is leaving Jackson Lewis P.C. ’s Detroit office. She is admitted to practice in Michigan courts and to go before the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. She earned her B.A. from Kalamazoo College and is a member of the Order of the Coif.
