Summary: Leading global law firm Morrison & Foerster continues to grow their corporate practice with the addition of a new partner.
Morrison & Foerster announced the addition of a new partner to their London corporate practice. Vladimir Maly is joining the global law firm from Latham & Watkins. Morrison & Foerster has been making efforts to grow their corporate practice since the advancement earlier in the year of Graeme Sloan to corporate head and global M&A co-chair.
Maly’s work as a corporate and international M&A lawyer will focus on providing equity derivative-related advice on cross-border financings, M&A, and other corporate transactions. He works with corporations, credit institutions, high-net worth individuals, private equity funds, asset management clients, and sovereign wealth funds on acquisitions and disposals of risk transfers, investments, and non-traditional finance structures.
Paul Friedman, managing partner of Morrison & Foerster in Europe said “We are committed to expanding our outstanding corporate and finance capability in London and across Europe. Vlad has a proven track record of success and brings to us extensive experience that complements our existing corporate practice.”
Maly said of his move, “Morrison & Foerster has an outstanding global reputation, and I am excited to join the firm. I look forward to working with my colleagues to serve our clients as effectively as possible and enhance our corporate finance transaction execution capability.”
