According to LawCrossing, the answer to that depends on multiple factors, which includes the industry and location of the job along with the size of the company.

The best paid general counsels work in the industries of entertainment and banking and finance. LawCrossing found the top highest paid in-house lawyers led the legal departments of General Electric, Time Warner, Twenty-First Century Fox, The Blackstone Group, Bank of America, Boeing, CBS, Google and Viacom Inc.
