The troubled singer, whose 2009 hit “Forever” seems to be on repeat at every wedding imaginable, got into some heat lately when party girl Liziane Gutierrez accused him of punching her in the eye. She claimed she was with him in a Vegas hotel when he popped off.

Gutierrez filed a police report and made statements about the alleged assault, but Brown wasn’t having it. He plans to file a defamation suit against her today, TMZ states.

According to Vulture, Brown said he “didn’t know” Gutierrez, and that she was probably “too ugly” to get into his hotel room.

To recap, Brown famously pled guilty in 2009 to beating pop star and girlfriend at the time Rihanna. The image of her battered face spread online, and Brown has had a hard time shaking his image of being violent and volatile–but that’s mostly his fault. For instance, in 2014, he pled guilty to assaulting a man in Washington, and in 2013, he got into a fight with fellow singer Frank Ocean over a parking spot.

Since Brown has continued to show violent tendencies since the 2009 incident, it does make one wonder if that reputation attracts money-hungry people looking to poke the bear.

Additionally, TMZ reports that Gutierrez has a history of celebrity gunning. Back in August of 2015, she claimed singer Jason DeRulo ditched her outside of The Argyle Hollywood, but DeRulo said he didn’t know her.

This incident has caused Brown to vow that 2016 would be the year he picked all the hangers-on out of his social garden. There are reportedly a lot of random girls who get invited to hang out with him, and some of them are looking for a quick payday.

“Keeping my circle small in 2016! I’m done taking the care of grown ass men. And I’m going to be hella rich after all the lawsuits I file from these crazy individuals who keep lying on my name. Happy NEW YEAR! Time for some of us to grow the fuck up!” Brown wrote on Instagram.
