Summary: The lawyer of the D.C. Madam seeks to release her black book because of its possible impact on the 2016 presidential elections.
Montgomery Blair Sibley may take down some of Washington’s power players. According to The Washington Post, the former lawyer of the D.C. Madam (Deborah Jeane Palfrey) wants to release the names of her 815 clients, along with the records of 40 other escort agencies.
Furthermore, Sibley is hinting that one of the clients has ties to the 2016 presidential campaigns.
Sibley said to media that he decided to release the black book now because of the election, but he wasn’t able to give more details yet. He is currently bound by a restraining order imposed by the court that he is fighting to get lifted.
Sibley represented the D.C. Madam, who was found guilty in 2008 of money laundering, racketeering, and prostitution. Palfrey ran a high end escort agency called Pamela Martin and Associates, which operated from 1996 through 2007. After she was found guilty, she committed suicide at her mother’s estate.
During her trial, the D.C. Madam and Sibley posted the phone numbers of many of her clients, and one of those named included a sitting senator, David Vitter (R-La). A court order from Judge Gladys Kessler forced them to stop distributing the list, and Sibley said recently that he had been sitting on the madam’s documents for years. He decided that now was the time to air out the names.

On Monday, Sibley filed a complaint of judicial misconduct against District Court Chief Judge Richard Roberts. Sibley alleges that Roberts told a clerk not to file his earlier request to lift the ban on him making the black book public. A spokeswoman for Roberts declined to comment to the press.
Sibley is representing himself in his attempt to remove the restraining order, WTOP reports.
