Summary: U.S. News and World Report released a list of the law schools with the highest median LSAT scores.
In addition to their Best Law Schools List, U.S. News and World Report releases a “Short List” to help potential applicants with data useful to their graduate school search.
The publication analyzed the median LSAT scores of students entering law school in the fall of 2015. From their data, they ranked the top 11 law schools with the highest median LSAT scores.
Harvard Law and Yale Law came out on top amongst the 196 law schools that responded to U.S. News’ annual survey. The two had a median LSAT score of 173.
The test’s highest score is 180.
The Short List named 11 top schools, and their average LSAT score was 170. Amongst the non-top 11, the average LSAT score was 155.
All of the schools on the list made U.S. News’ 2017 rankings in the top ten, except for the University of California—Berkeley. Their average LSAT score was 166.
