The police arrived on the scene to respond to a domestic abuse complaint. They interviewed a man, possibly John’s boyfriend, to see whether or not he sexually battered her. The man denied the claim and then showed the deputies the sex tape, which allegedly showed Johns engaging in oral sex with her dogs. Additionally, she also sexted images of the bestiality to the man, thinking he was into it. He showed the cops the sexts as well.

Johns was released on a $6,000 bond, and she is due back in court on April 13. A spokesperson for the local animal services department said Johns did not have a prior record with them. It is unclear if she’s engaged in this type of behavior in the past.

According to Animal Law, an animal rights website provided by Michigan State University, it is a first degree misdemeanor to engage in any sexual acts with an animal in the state of Florida. A first degree misdemeanor has a sentence of up to one year in prison.
