Summary: The newly planned Hudson Yards tower is welcoming Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy to their building, which will now serve as the law firm’s headquarters.
An international law firm is moving its headquarters to 55 Hudson Yards in New York. Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP will take over a 250,000 sq. ft. space across nine floors of the park-front office building on Manhattan’s West Side.
Milbank, Tweed will be the second commercial tenant to take a space in the new tower. Related Companies, Mitsui Fudosan America and Oxford Properties Group are developing the site. A letter of intent has been given and the terms of the lease will be finalized by the end of summer.

Hudson Yards is expected to be a LEED Gold building with 51-stories for a total of 1.3 million gross square feet. It is anticipated to be done in 2018. The tower is located in a prime location at the intersection of Hudson Yards, the High Line and Hudson Park & Boulevard. It opens directly onto a park and is adjacent to a No. 7 Subway station. Penn Station is only ten minutes walking distance away.
