Will Chris Brown ever stop raging? The troubled singer has been accused again of beating down someone in the music industry. This time the man he hired to help his battered public image.
In a lawsuit filed on Thursday, Brown’s manager Michael M. Guirguis, also known as Mike G, claimed that Brown “viciously attacked” him. Mike G. said he was hired by Brown to rebuild his career after he was publicly condemned in 2009 of beating his then-girlfriend Rihanna. However, Mike G. said their relationship soured on May 10 when Brown raged on him while on drugs.
According to the lawsuit, Brown was alone in a room with Mike G. and punched him four times in the face and neck. Afterwards, instead of apologizing, the singer bragged about the incident. He even went so far as to say on Instagram that he would beat anyone else “like he did Mike G” if they didn’t obey him.
Besides, Brown’s infamous attack on Rihanna, he has been accused of assault multiple times since 2009. In 2016, a party girl accused him of attacking her in a Las Vegas hotel room and in 2014, he pled guilty to attacking a stranger who tried to take his picture.
Mike G. is seeking unspecified damages. His lawyer, Patty Glaser, told The Wrap that they wanted to resolve this issue in a non-public way as to not harm Brown, but that Brown turned out to be “his own worst enemy.”
