Summary: A North Carolina couple used pizza rolls as the weapon of choice on each other.
Who knew pizza rolls could be used as a weapon? There is little doubt that when still frozen they could inflict some injury on another person or when hot could cause serious burns. A North Carolina couple has been charged after using the tasty treat to assault each other.
Brad Scott Beard, 24, and Samantha Brooke Canipe, 21, were charged on Monday with one count of misdemeanor simple assault each. The couple allegedly got into an altercation the night of the Fourth of July and resulted to using the nighttime snack against each other.

Police responded to the Gastonia apartment around 1 a.m. to find the young couple throwing the pizza rolls at each other. The motive for the encounter is uncertain. Maybe one of them wasn’t sharing. It is also unclear if any injuries were sustained during the smack down.

Beard is now facing 60 days in jail while Canipe only faced 30 days. They were released from jail the same night on $2500 unsecured bond.
