This New Yorker did just that, except he was wandering around aimlessly while driving a motor vehicle.

A 28-year-old driver in upstate New York slammed his car into a tree. The driver was playing “Pokemon Go†on his phone when the crash happened. He was not seriously injured but was still transported to a local hospital for treatment on cuts in his legs. His car was severely damaged.
The driver, who has not been identified, is expected to receive a citation for his one-car accident. He held no secrets from the police, admitting to “actively playing the ‘Pokemon Go’ game while driving causing him to become distracted and run off the roadway into a tree.â€
