Summary: A Pennsylvania woman wanted to go for a cruise in a Corvette with her friend so she put her two young kids in the trunk.
We have to give props to this mom for not leaving her kids home alone while she went for a drive with a friend in a flashy red Corvette. However, her solution to put her three-year-old and five-year-old into the trunk may not have been the best. Jessica Marie Reger, 29, from Pennsylvania was seen by a witness putting her kids into the trunk Sunday night and then driving off.

The concerned witness called the police who then pulled the car with the license plates “RD HOTT1” over. The driver was asked to open the trunk of the car by the police officer, exposing the hidden children. Reger was arrested and charged with endangering the welfare of her children. The driver, Ilena Blackburn, 28, was charged with reckless endangerment and improper child-restraint system.

The sports car only has two seats leading one to assume that is why she opted for the trunk but the criminal complaint does not provide details. Reger has a lengthy rap sheet, which may be the reason for her tattooed knuckles of “LESS” and “FEAR” – she has less fear of jail than others. Reger has previously been arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia; narcotics distribution; receiving stolen property; criminal mischief; harassment; retail theft; disorderly conduct; and fleeing police.
