Vin Diesel and The Rock Reportedly Had Secret Meeting to Squash Feud

Summary: The Rock and Vin Diesel are reportedly working out their feud while shooting Fast 8 in Atlanta.

We can smell what The Rock is cooking—and it’s beef! Yesterday, TMZ reported that after the muscle-bound actor went on an epic rant on Monday about one of his co-stars, his alleged foe and he are trying to squash their differences.

On Monday, Dwayne Johnson, also known as The Rock, wrote a scathing post on Facebook, calling his Fast 8 co-stars terrible guys who wouldn’t confront an unprofessional actor:

“This is my final week of shooting Fast & Furious 8. There’s no other franchise that gets my blood boiling more than this one. An incredible hard working crew. Universal Studios Entertainment has been great partners as well. My female co-stars are always amazing and I love ’em. My male co-stars however are a different story. Some conduct themselves as stand up men and true professionals, while others don’t. The ones that don’t are too chicken shit to do anything about it anyway. Candy asses. When you watch this movie next April and it seems like I’m not acting in some of these scenes and my blood is legit boiling – you’re right.

Bottom line is it’ll play great for the movie and fits this Hobbs character that’s embedded in my DNA extremely well. The producer in me is happy about this part. Final week on FAST 8 and I will finish strong.

According to TMZ, the entire cast was livid at The Rock for brewing up drama when the movie hadn’t even finished wrapping.

While the internet sleuths tried to guess who The Rock’s enemy was (Scott Eastwick? Ludacris? Tyrese?), TMZ said with certainty that The Rock hates Vin Diesel, who starred in the original Fast and the Furious and is now one of the lucrative franchise’s producers. In this case, it was bald on bald hatred.

TMZ said that on Tuesday night The Rock and Diesel had a secret meeting on the set of the movie, which is still filming in Atlanta. TMZ said that production snitches told them that the two men had fought before because Diesel made creative decisions that didn’t wrestle well with The Rock. So basically, it seems as if this isn’t a publicity stunt, although it has gotten a lot of press.

No word on whether the two actually resolved their surely testosterone-fueled feud.
