Mangus had the tasty meal in hand when he was caught up in the Casper police sting. The officers had placed an ad on Backpage.com as a prostitute looking for clients. Mangus answered the ad the week before the arranged date for sex. Mangus probably thought he was pretty lucky to get away with paying for oral and vaginal sex with McDonalds food instead of cash. The purported prostitute specifically demanded a Quarter Pounder with cheese and a medium fry.

Mangus was charged with the misdemeanor charge of soliciting prostitution. He was booked into Natrona County jail and released the same day on his own recognizance. It is unknown if he paid a fine or even got to eat his McDonalds meal while waiting to be released.
