Michael Jackson

Summary: The first person to claim child abuse at the hands of Michael Jackson can no longer be found to give a deposition for another case.

The sister of Jordan Chandler claims he has disappeared. The 36-year-old is wanted to give a deposition for another on-going court case against Jackson. Wade Robson, a celebrity choreographer, has sued Jackson’s estate for child abuse beginning when he was 7-years-old.

Chandler received a $20 million settlement in 1993, remaining the most famous accuser of abuse by Jackson at his Neverland Ranch. Chandler has not spoken about the event publicly in over 22 years nor have the full details of the settlement ever been made public. It is believed that he received a new identity and moved to New York after the settlement.

Since Chandler cannot be found, Robson’s team has turned to his sister Lily in search of a deposition. They hope that she will be able to give information regarding what happened at Neverland Ranch or what may have happened to her brother. Lily does not want to be involved, partially because she was only 5 when the alleged abuse occurred and also because of the threats her family has received by Jackson fans.

Lily filed her own request to be prevented from giving a deposition, including evidence of the violent threats her family has received from fans. The judge has not yet ruled on her request.

Robson has asked the court to release the records of all details connecting Jackson to child abuse. He is trying to prove to a civil court that Jackson abused him for a long length of time, which would include allowing other former child companions to Jackson and their families to speak openly in court. This request would include making confidentiality agreements public.

There is no secret that Jackson made business and personal deals with many of the former child companions and families but it is also believed that the FBI has records detailing how much Jackson has paid out, possibly around $28 million.

Do you think Robson waited too long to get money from Jackson? Tell us in the comments below.
