Summary: Police responded to a call of two Denny’s workers fighting over a hard-boiled egg.
Two Denny’s workers found yolk on their faces when the police came after a heated dispute. The Smoking Gun reported that earlier this month, 911 was called in South Carolina after the foul-mouthed employees fought “over a hard boiled egg.”
A sheriff’s deputy arrived at a Spartanburg Denny’s at 10:30pm on December 22. He was responding to a 911 call about a “disturbance between employees,” and he was ready to crack the case. Once on the scene, the cop learned that Nancy Michelle Kirkpatrick, 56, and Quanisha Dre’Shawn Fenn, 21, had started clucking over a hard boiled egg, and during their fight, Kirkpatrick called the young woman a “bitch.”
Fenn then called her mother Toska Marie Lightner, 47,  for help, and when Lightner arrived, Lightner and Fenn flocked up on Kirkpatrick. Lightner went so far as to throw a tape dispenser at Kirkpatrick, but she missed.
Kirkpatrick decided not to press charges, and the policeman who arrived on the call seemed to be puzzled in his report as to how an egg left three adults so scrambled.
