Summary: Attorney Christopher Greene was disbarred earlier this month in North Carolina.Â
During President Donald Trump’s election campaign, he emphatically stated that illegal immigrants were dangerous rapists, a comment that drew a slew of controversy. While his promises of building a wall to keep them out has yet to come to fruition, one recent story from the South shows that maybe it’s the immigrants who are actually in danger… Or at least from lawyer Christopher Greene.
Charlotte immigration attorney Christopher Greene was disbarred on January 12 after admitting to having sex with numerous clients. While that action itself is questionable, the story turns dark after he admitted that those clients with benefits were “especially vulnerable” individuals. During the North Carolina State Bar investigation, he admitted that he got busy with current and former clients for over five years, and he tended to target those in need.
Besides sex, Greene also admitted to sexting clients despite his professional relationship with them. The complaint did not add further details, even though we can imagine his texts were something worthy of “Tinder Nightmares.”
According to the Charlotte Observer, Greene may not have his license restored for at least five years. He operated the law firm Greene & Associates, and he was an attorney since 1998.
Greene was represented by attorney Lane Williamson.
