Summary: Two lawyers threaten legal action during a heated airplane argument.
Travelling can be fun, but airport security and cramped quarters can also bring out the worst in people. And that apparently happened to two lawyers, who more than likely started off as crappy people and their airplane seats only made them crappier.
The Daily Mail caught wind of cell phone footage of a Monarch Airlines flight from the United Kingdom to Spain. In the video which was shot on New Year’s Eve, two people claiming to be lawyers fought loudly over an armrest. Their argument got so heated that airplane staff had to step in, and the passengers around them burst into awkward giggles.
The video starts off with a man arguing with his neighbor over who gets the right to use their armrest. The woman informs the man that she is a lawyer, as if that would scare him into complying, and then he doubles down and tells her that he too is a lawyer!
“I’m a lawyer too you stupid woman!” he can be heard shouting.

The intensity of their bickering led to staff coming to the rescue to separate the two, who of course made things difficult by fighting over which one had to move.
“He just punched me,” the woman said. “I’m a lawyer and I will sue you guys if you don’t do anything. He just hit me with his elbow and everyone has seen it.”
Eventually, the woman was moved, and surrounding passengers can be heard laughing at the ridiculousness.
