Summary: Demi Moore has fired back in court against the parents of the man who died in her swimming pool.

Demi Moore recently revealed that the stress in her life caused her to lose her two front teeth. While she wouldn’t reveal the source of the stress, the 54-year-old actress is the defendant in a contentious lawsuit, and according to Radar Online, the plaintiffs have gotten so bothersome to the actress that she is seeking for them to be sanctioned.

“Stress, when you are not acknowledging it, and how I actually held my bottom teeth against my front teeth, knocked my front teeth out,” Moore told Extra TV in an interview this week. “Stress is a harder detox than even drugs, and it can outlet in ways. Mine happened to outlet with literally a tooth falling out into my hand and I thought, â€Holy crap! My warranty is up!’”

In July 2015, Moore was out of the country with her family, and she left her home in the care of Lenny Hernandez and Bessy Wong. Hernandez and Wong threw a party on Moore’s property, and Edenilson Steven Valle, 21, showed up, drank, and then fell into Moore’s pool. According to police, he had drowned because he couldn’t swim. They suspected no foul play.

At the time, Moore expressed her condolences to Valle’s family, but things eventually got ugly when Valle’s parents filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the Ghost actress.

The original lawsuit filed only listed Hernandez and Wong and the property’s trust; but later, Valle’s family added the A-list actress, who is reportedly worth $150 million.

Since adding Moore as a defendant, the Valle family has allegedly fired off subpoenas to Moore’s talent agent and tried to conduct a 12-hour inspection of her property, according to Radar. Fed up, the actress filed for official sanctions.

Valle’s family said that Hernandez had served alcohol at the party and claimed that the house was “unsafe to host” because of things such as poor lighting and slippery rocks. They blamed Moore for contributing to their son’s death because of the alleged dangerousness of her yard and pool.

Moore responded that she is not liable for Valle’s death and demanded that the case closes. She said the victim was negligent and caused his own death. He had gotten drunk and snuck into the pool area by himself when most of the guests had left the party.

Additionally, Moore said that Valle was unlawfully present on her private property when she was out of town.

While Moore may be under a lot of stress because of this lawsuit (and possibly still dealing with her 2013 divorce from Ashton Kutcher), she has kept busy professionally. She recently had a guest spot on Fox’s hit show Empire; and in July, her new movie Blind, which co-stars Alec Baldwin, will be released in theaters.
