The idea of being able to make a lot of money and spend very little of it on necessary bills like housing, food, and utilities is one that no one would want to turn down. GOBankingRates put together a list of places where you can get just that.
GOBankingRates went over data for average annual income and average monthly living expenses across the country. They compared those numbers to the average rent prices, utility, and grocery bills from sources like Zillow, the U.S. Census Bureau and Numbeo.
According to an article on CNBC, the South and Midwest dominated the list in large part because of the low cost of living attracting top companies proving high paying jobs. The list does not consider other factors like crime rates, taxes, education, and overall satisfaction.
