There are just some law schools known for sending large numbers of their graduates to associate positions with the country’s top law firms. Law.com gathered a list of 50 law schools with the highest percentage of their graduates from this year heading to AmLaw 100 associate jobs.
- Columbia Law School – 68 percent or 292 of their graduates ended up at the largest 100 law firms
- University of Chicago Law School – 60 percent or 128 graduates ended up at the largest 100 law firms
- New York University School of Law – 57 percent or 277 graduates ended up at the largest 100 law firms
- University of Virginia School of Law – 56 percent or 167 graduates ended up at the largest 100 law firms
- University of Pennsylvania Law School – 52 percent or 134 graduates ended up at the largest 100 law firms
- Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law – 52 percent or 130 graduates ended up at the largest 100 law firms
- Duke Law School – 51 percent or 115 graduates ended up at the largest 100 law firms
- Harvard Law School – 50 percent or 610 graduates ended up at the largest 100 law firms
- Cornell Law School – 48 percent or 98 graduates ended up at the largest 100 law firms
- University of California, Berkeley School of Law – 46 percent or 142 graduates ended up at the largest 100 law firms
- Stanford Law School – 43 percent or 84 graduates ended up at the largest 100 law firms
- Georgetown University Law Center – 40 percent or 271 graduates ended up at the largest 100 law firms
- Vanderbilt University Law School – 39 percent or 73 graduates ended up at the largest 100 law firms
- University of Michigan Law School – 37 percent or 124 graduates ended up at the largest 100 law firms
- University of California at Los Angeles School of Law – 32 percent or 113 graduates ended up at the largest 100 law firms
- University of Southern California Gould School of Law – 31 percent or 65 graduates ended up at the largest 100 law firms
