“My client was physically threatened to stay silent about what she knew about Donald Trump,” Avenatti said on CNN.

Avenatti did not go into details about who or what was said to Daniels, but he shared that the porn star planned to reveal all in an interview on “60 Minutes” that will be aired on March 25.

“She’s going to be able to provide very specific details [on “60 Minutes”] about what happened here,” Avenatti said.

Stormy Daniels, real name Stephanie Clifford, is an adult film star who allegedly had an affair with Donald Trump in 2006, while he was married to his current wife Melania. In 2016, she received $130,000 to keep quiet about her affair; but recently, she said that her non-disclosure agreement was invalid and that she wanted to share her story with the world.

Trump has denied the affair, and Trump’s personal lawyer, Michael Cohen, said that it was Cohen who had arranged the payment and that he had paid her the amount from his own pocket.

Daniels said that she would return the money to Cohen in exchange for the right to tell her story. According to Reuters, Cohen ignored her offer.

Cohen said this year that he had given $130,000 to Daniels, but he would not provide details of why the money was issued.

In 2011, Daniels shared her Trump affair story with the National Enquirer and InTouch Magazine. At the time, both publications declined to publish the story, but after news of the $130,000 payment broke in January, InTouch released the interview.

In the InTouch interview, Daniels said that she had met Trump at a golf tournament in 2006, and they had sex that night. She said that for one year the two had a relationship.

This month, Daniels’s attorney Avenatti has been vocal about how his client’s NDA was void, and on Friday, he told Reuters that six women have contacted his firm about possible representation. He said that the women claim to have similar stories to Daniels’ and they are considering filing lawsuits against the 45th President.

Avenatti said at this stage they are “in the process of vetting these allegations.” On MSNBC, Avenatti said that at least two of the six women had also signed NDAs.
