Summary: A woman says she was forced to have sex with Young Lo the rapper and another woman at Chris Brown’s Los Angeles home.
On Wednesday, a woman represented by attorney Gloria Allred filed a lawsuit, saying she was repeatedly sexually assaulted at Chris Brown’s home.
In a lawsuit filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, Brown, the rapper Young Lo, and another woman were named as defendants, according to Fox News. The plaintiff was listed as “Jane Doe” and her age was not disclosed.
Allred said that her client attended a Chris Brown concert at One Oak in West Hollywood, California in February of 2017. Afterwards, the client was invited to an after-party to meet Young Lo and Brown, and when she arrived, her phone was taken away from her.
“When she arrived at the studio, her phone was taken away from her,” Allred said. “She was told that Brown did not want anyone to have their phones in the studio.”
The plaintiff said that she was forced to go to Brown’s house after the after-party, and she said she was “falsely imprisoned” in one Brown’s bedroom and it was there where Young Lo and another woman sexually assaulted the plaintiff multiple times. According to the New York Daily News, Young Lo and the other woman allegedly pinned the victim down on a bed and forced Jane Doe to give oral sex, and the newspaper described the party as an out of control “orgy.”
“This is one of the most horrific sexual assault cases that I have ever seen,” Allred said.
The Los Angeles Police Department said that no crime report was filed on this case, but Allred said that her client had reported the incident.
Brown is represented by attorney Mark Geragos who told TMZ that Allred requested $17 million from his client and described this lawsuit as a shakedown.
“In another era, we might have called this a shakedown,” Geragos said of the lawsuit. “None of these allegations are true. Nobody has done anything with this… there’s no case here. Chris is a target.”
Brown has denied any wrongdoing, and Jane Doe is not accusing him of assault but said he served alcohol and drugs at his party. The plaintiff accused Brown of owning guns and trying to hide them from the police, and she said that the combination of alcohol, drugs, and firearms created an environment of coercion, according to PEOPLE.
