Summary: An Iowa man was just curious about how big his penis was but decided to do his measurements in a public bathroom at the university’s library.
An Iowa man was arrested for indecent exposure after exposing himself and measuring his erect penis to a fellow man using the bathroom urinal. Thomas Morgan, 42, was using the library bathroom at the University of Iowa in Iowa City. While there is nothing wrong with a man wanting to know his size, picking a more private location may be smart.
Morgan used a cardboard ruler to measure his penis and show his size to the other man. Cops reported that Morgan was inside the main library’s bathroom when he “partially turned his body towards the victim/witness who was using a urinal in the bathroom.” He then “measured his penis against a cardboard ruler” and made a remark to the person.
The victim to Morgan’s indecency told police that he “made a comment regarding his size.” He victim explained that the other two urinals had cardboard rulers with “dark sharpie markings regarding penis size” on top of them as well. It is unclear if the cardboard rulers were homemade.

The victim went to police because he “felt weird and uncomfortable” with the whole incident, especially seeing Morgan’s “semi erect penis.” Morgan admitted to measuring himself with a ruler but denied “being aroused.” He claims he was “guilty of being curious.”
The misdemeanor charge landed Morgan in Johnson County Jail until he posted $1000 bond. He has been ordered to have no contact with the victim.
