Summary: After a rehearsal dinner that went bad quickly with the wedding cancelled, family members are suing each other to recover money from the intended nuptials.
The rehearsal dinner for the Moss and Bzura families should have been a happy, exciting event. Well it was exciting at least with respect to the punches and insults that were thrown. The ritzy wedding rehearsal dinner in Manhattan at Blue Water Grill in Union Square blew up when the bride’s brother tried to give a toast to the couple.
The $325,000 wedding that was planned to take place the next day at The Pierre hotel was easily broken apart. The groom’s parents became offended when the bride’s brother Adam Bzura prepared to give a toast and video tribute. For some reason Robert Moss, 65, did not want Adam to speak at the dinner. Moss then threatened to kick the bride’s brother out.
The rest of the Moss family joined in with Wendy to argue with Adam. The groom’s brother, Michael, punched Adam in the face. Robert then tried to charge Adam but Bruce Bzura, the bride’s father, held him back. Shouting and tears continued with Wendy calling guests right then and there to declare the wedding was off.

If that wasn’t bad enough, Robert and Wendy Moss had the locks changed on the apartment the couple shared so that the supposed-to-be-bride, Amy, could not enter the residence to collect her things. The Mosses agreed to let her enter the apartment under supervision of an off-duty officer.
The Bzuras want the Mosses to pay their share of the $1,100-a-head wedding reception bill. Robert Moss has agreed to $89,919 to cover the cost of their 79 guests before things went south between the families. Bruce claims Robert is unwilling to pay now.
So in the end the one failed wedding resulted in three lawsuits. The Bzuras filing a court order to allow Amy into the apartment so she could gather her belongings. The Mosses suing for the Bzuras portion of the wedding cost. And the groom, Bradley, suing Amy for the $125,800 engagement ring.
