According to Us Weekly, Meadow and Porsche resolved their dispute on October 16. Both parties filed motions to dismiss the case and the terms of the settlement were not released.

Meadow’s father Fast and the Furious star Paul Walker died in a car crash in November 2013. Meadow claimed that he could’ve survived if the Porsche he was in was safer.

Paul, who was 40 at the time, had been a passenger when his friend was racing at almost 100 mph in a 45 mph zone. The car had veered off the road, crashed into a lamp post, and then engulfed in flames. Meadow claimed that the crash was caused by known faulty systems in the Porsche and that Paul was trapped in his seat because of his seatbelt. Meadow said that Paul was alive after the accident but that he was burned alive because he could not get out of his seat.

In Meadow’s lawsuit, she said that Porsche knew the Carrera GT had a history of instability and control issues but failed to install an electronic stability system.

“The bottom line is that the Porsche Carrera GT is a dangerous car. It doesn’t belong on the street. And we shouldn’t be without Paul Walker or his friend, Roger Rodas,” Meadow Walker’s lawyer, Jeff Milam, told ABC News at the time of the filing.

When the lawsuit was initially filed, Porsche said that the car was state-of-the-art and that it was not responsible for whatever happened due to misuse.

“Mr. Walker… chose to conduct himself in a manner as to expose himself to such perils, dangers, and risks, thus assuming all the risks involved in using the vehicle,” Porsche had said.

Meadow, 18, had also sued the driver of the Porsche, Roger Rodas, and she was awarded $10.1 million from his estate. Before the accident, Rodas and Paul were good friends, and he was a financial planner. He and Paul met at a racing club.

Meadow was Paul Walker’s only child. The unmarried actor left her his $25 million estate. Since his passing, she has continued his mission to help others, taking over his charity, The Paul Walker Foundation.

Paul Walker was best known for starring in the mega-successful franchise Fast and the Furious. He was filming an installment during the time of his death, and fans worldwide mourned his passing.
