The Los Angeles office of Berger Kahn has brought on two lawyers, and is reforming as Gladstone Michel Weisberg Willner & Sloane.
New partners Leon Gladstone and Owen Sloane will head the entertainment law practice.
Gladstone provides entertainment insurance coverage advice and litigation expertise. He represents major US entertainment insurers and completion guarantors, as well as actors, directors, producers, screenwriters, publishers, production companies, distributors, authors and below-the-line talent.
Sloane is one of the entertainment industry’s most respected attorneys. He currently represents American Idol alum Chris Daughtry, the Frank Zappa Estate, and Rob Thomas of Matchbox Twenty, as well as other major artists and leading companies in the entertainment, Internet and music publishing businesses.
The new firm will also handle litigation, insurance, business and corporate, professional liability, aviation, labor and employment, bankruptcy, real estate and trials and appeals.
Founded in the 1940s, Berger Kahn also has offices in Irvine, San Diego, and Novato, California.
