Dan Grunfeld, who served as LA Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa‘s Deputy Chief of Staff for two years, stepped down from his post on friday and walked into a partnership today with Kaye Scholer. Grunfeld will focus on renewable energy and green technology for the firm, which already has an international practice dealing with green energy.
Kaye Scholer was founded in 1917 by Benjamin Kaye and Jacob Scholer. The firm has more than 500 attorneys in eight offices located in New York, Chicago, Frankfurt, London, Los Angeles, Shanghai, Washington DC, and West Palm Beach.
