Karen Cyr, the longest-serving general counsel in the history of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, has joined Morgan Lewis as senior counsel of its energy practice.
Cyr retired from the federal agency last year after serving 15 years as its top lawyer. She will use that experience to assist the firm’s nuclear practice “on Commissioner-level issues,” the firm said in a statement.
Morgan Lewis has 22 offices around the world and nearly 1,400 lawyers.
