The Pittsburgh Business Times is reporting that Thorp Reed & Armstronghas “parted ways” with seven of its attorneys as well as two administrative assistants. Thorp, which employs some 125 attorneys, is Pittsburgh’s seventh largest firm.
The firm’s managing partner, Jeffrey Conn, did not disclose the names of those leaving or their practice groups, but commented that the firm had “made a strategic decision, along with many that we make from time to time, and acted accordingly.”
Established in 1895, Thorp Reed & Armstrong has offices located in Pittsburgh and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Princeton, New Jersey; and Wheeling, West Virginia. Its lawyers support a wide variety of clients’ needs within the practice areas of business law, litigation, labor and commercial and public finance.
