Risk.net: Robert McLaughlin, co-founder of the structured products practice at Katten Muchin Rosenman, has joined Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobsen as a partner in its asset management and financial services practice group at its New York office.  Mr. McLaughlin’s practice focuses financial transactions with a concentration on over-the-counter derivatives, credit extensions, structured products and synthetic investments.  His clients include a number of investment and commercial banks and investment management firms.
