Robert G. Bickhart, the former finance director for the Republican National Committee, has joined Cozen O’Connor Public Strategies LLC in its Philadelphia office.
While with the RNC, Bickhart directed and managed a $90 million midterm finance and fundraising effort, and led the Major Donor, Direct Marketing and Political Action Committee divisions. Edward Hazzouri, co-chair of Cozen O’Connor Public Strategies, said in a press release that Bickhart “will help us continue our growth both in Washington and the Mid-Atlantic region.”
Prior to his position with the RNC, Bickhart served as Finance Chairman of Senator Rick Santorum’s re-election effort where he was responsible for development, implementation, and management of the strategic national finance and fundraising function of his successful campaign.
“I’ve had the opportunity to work with most of the government relations team here at Cozen O’Connor throughout my career, and I’ve always been impressed,” said Bickhart. “The Public Strategies group they’ve built has quickly become one of the premier government affairs groups in the region. With the midterm elections approaching, and the changes they may bring about, this is the ideal time for me to begin this new stage of my career.”
Cozen O’Connor Public Strategies offers government relations assistance in public policy advocacy, regulatory compliance, and contract procurement at the federal, state, and local levels.
