Kilpatrick Stockton and Bell, Rosenberg & Hughes announced the merger of their firms yesterday. The combined firm will be known as Kilpatrick Stockton.
The two firms bring together many of the nation’s leading construction and infrastructure development attorneys. They represent a broad spectrum of clients across California, the United States, and the Middle East.
Ten attorneys, including five partners, one counsel, and four associates will be joining Kilpatrick Stockton. Bill Dorris and Diane Prucino will continue to serve as Kilpatrick Stockton Managing Partners. Roger Hughes will serve as the Managing Partner of the Oakland office.
According to the press release at the firm’s website, Bill Dorris, a Managing Partner of Kilpatrick Stockton was quoted as saying: “This merger represents a combination of two cultures that are absolutely committed to providing outstanding client service. This action further solidifies Kilpatrick Stockton’s reputation as the go-to firm for construction and infrastructure projects.  It was obvious from the beginning that this would be a perfect fit.  We are excited about our new presence in California and look forward to working even closer with our many existing clients based on the West Coast and meeting our new clients.”
Kilpatrick Stockton’s Construction and Infrastructure Development Practice is ranked as one of the nation’s best by Chambers USA and earned a national top tier ranking in the inaugural US News Media Group and Best Lawyers “2010 Best Law Firms” rankings.
Kilpatrick Stockton will have 10 offices. These include offices in Atlanta, Augusta, Charlotte, New York City, Oakland, Raleigh, Washington, DC, and Winston-Salem, and in the Middle East and Europe.
