Axinn Veltrop & Harkrider has launched an expanded litigation and regulatory practice that will be co-chaired by new D.C. partner Behnam Dayanim, formerly of Paul Hastings Janofsky & Walker, and veteran litigator Thomas Rohback. Additionally, the firm further expanded its D.C. office with the relocation of antitrust and litigation partner Michael Keeley from the firm’s New York City office, and the hiring of associate Rachel Adcox from the U.S. Department of Justice’s Antitrust Division.
Dayanim previously was co-chair of Paul Hastings’ privacy and information security and advertising practices. He focuses his practice on internal investigations, voluntary or directed disclosures to government agencies, agency investigations and litigation.
The new litigation and regulatory practice at Axinn Veltrop will guide clients through internal investigations, voluntary or directed disclosures to government agencies, agency investigations and, where required, litigation, the firm said in a press release.
AV&H was founded in 1997 by three lawyers from Skadden, Arps, according to the firm’s Web site.
