Foley & Lardner LLP, an international law firm with nearly 1,000 lawyers, proudly announced that former Wisconsin Governor, Jim Doyle, is officially part of the firm’s Wisconsin office. Doyle, who served as the 44th governor of the state of Wisconsin from 2003 to 2011, is now of counsel in the firm’s public policy practice. Doyle, a Harvard graduate, will focus on providing strategic advice and counsel to the firm’s clients regarding policy and regulatory issues concerning the healthcare and energy sectors.
Ralf Boer, chairman and CEO of Foley, said that the entire firm is grateful to Doyle’s decision to share his expertise and extensive experience on healthcare and energy practices. “Having worked closely with the White House, high ranking Administration officials and other Governors, Gov. Doyle understands the healthcare and energy policy issues facing the Obama administration and Governors across the country as new laws and regulations are considered and adopted, and can help our clients anticipate and comply with the evolving regulatory framework facing those industries.”
