Lowenstein Sandler recently announced the addition of an 8 person IP prosecution team to its Palo Alto office. The move continues the firm’s strengthening of its intellectual property practice.
The group includes Kevin Grange, Ashley Essick, Ben Kimes, Joan Arbolante, Paul Krueger and Tony Chen. Collectively, they’ve prosecuted thousands of patents, many of which were for companies well known in the venture and tech communities.
The group, led by Dan Ovanezian and Marina Portnova, has been highly sought after, and joins from Blakely Sokoloff Taylor & Zafman.
Gary Wingens, Lowenstein’s Chairman & CEO was quoted as saying in a press release at the firm’s site: “We could not be more thrilled that Dan, Marina and their team chose to bring their energy and creativity to Lowenstein. Their forward-looking, business-oriented approach fits perfectly with the entrepreneurial culture that makes Lowenstein Sandler different. This team’s arrival will certainly enhance our ability to continue to deliver great value and service to our clients, and our newest clients will have at their disposal the comprehensive suite of legal services that Lowenstein offers.”
