Gay marriage supporters get mixed signals from government

Gay marriage supporters and gay rights advocates got mixed messages from the federal government this week. First the Obama Administration appealed the DOMA bankruptcy ruling saying that the law was unconstitutional. Then the DOJ weighed in on a different lawsuit brought by a federal government employee who says that DOMA is making the federal government deny healthcare coverage to her same-sex partner.
