Disney Faces Spanking Lawsuit

A Disney Channel comedian has been accused of spanking a woman in front of her two children and a live studio audience, according to a new lawsuit.

Ron Pearson was the warm-up act, according to the lawsuit. He invited Kellie Rodriguez to join him and two other audience members onto the stage. This all occurred during a December 2011 taping of ‘Good Luck Charlie.’ Rodriguez is the plaintiff in the case. While the classic Village People song ‘YMCA’ played, the contestants were asked to do their best silly dance to the song. In attendance with Rodriguez was her two children, her sister-in-law, and her sister-in-law’s three daughters. When Rodriguez began her silly dance, Pearson began to spank her while on the stage.

“This unwarranted and unconsented spanking was relentless, and did not cease until Plaintiff physically turned around to stop it,” the suit, filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, says.

At the end of the dance, Pearson requested a kiss on the check from Rodriguez. According to the lawsuit, when Rodriguez agreed, Pearson turned to receive a kiss on the lips.

According to the lawsuit, Rodriguez noticed Pearson “looking up and down Plaintiff’s body in a lewd manner” near the restroom before the incident occurred.

It has been reported that Rodriguez is seeking punitive damages for “sexual assault, battery, negligence, negligent hiring, negligent retention of unfit employees, negligent supervision, negligent training, negligent infliction of emotional distress, and intentional infliction of emotional distress.”

Pearson has appeared on ‘That 70’s Show,’ ‘The Drew Carey Show,’ and ‘Malcolm and Eddie.’
